Description:
This course will focus on wind, solar and other alternative energy business opportunities for electrical contractors. Specifically, we will provide an overview of federal and state rules, regulations and incentives that apply to alternative energy projects and how those rules, regulations and incentives affect contractors.
Who should Attend: Electrical contractors who are currently involved with alternative energy projects or are planning to perform work on alternative energy projects.
Learning Outcomes: This 50 minute course is designed to provide an overview of the rules and regulations which affect alternative energy projects so that contractors can minimize their risks on alternative energy projects.
Speaker Bio:
J. Craig Rusk
Craig is one of the firm’s co-managing partners. His practice focuses on representation of clients involved in complex commercial enterprises, primarily construction and government procurement. He represents clients in all phases of their projects, from contract negotiation to dispute resolution. Craig’s clients include general contractors, specialty subcontractors and international engineering firms. He has represented clients in transactions with public agencies as well as numerous federal agencies and private groups. Craig frequently appears in state and federal courts, and represents clients in arbitration and mediation.
